Winter-Capable Multi-purpose Corvette for Northern European Navies.
Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) present its next-generation multi-purpose corvette. Designed for year-round operations in icy and harsh conditions, the vessel is based on the Finnish Navy’s new Pohjanmaa-class.
RMC is building a total of four multi-purpose corvettes. The first two vessels have already been launched – the first in May 2025 and the second in May 2026 – and are both now at the outfitting stage. The third and fourth vessels are currently at the hull assembly stage. The keel of the third vessel was laid in January 2026, while the keel of the fourth vessel was laid in August 2026.
