Code of Conduct

RMC’s Code of Conduct defines how we operate responsibly and in compliance with laws in all situations. Our goal is to ensure that our operations are ethical, safe, and sustainable at the workplace, throughout the supply chain, and in customer cooperation.

Key principles:

  • We comply with laws and regulations in all countries where we operate.
  • Respect for human rights: we do not accept forced labour, child labour, discrimination, or inappropriate treatment.
  • Zero tolerance for corruption: we act with integrity and do not offer or accept improper gifts or benefits.
  • Safe and inclusive working environment: we emphasize occupational safety, well-being, and diversity.
  • Responsible information management: we protect confidential information and use systems appropriately.
  • Responsible sourcing: we require our suppliers to adhere to the same ethical principles.
  • Environmental responsibility: we reduce environmental impacts and develop towards sustainable solutions.
  • Reporting channels: we encourage reporting of suspected misconduct. Reporting is confidential and protected.

Commitment to Preventing Trafficking in Persons

Rauma Marine Constructions Oy is fully committed to meeting all legal obligations related to preventing trafficking in persons. We apply a strict zero-tolerance policy and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including U.S. Government requirements when relevant.

Our company has an internal instruction that outlines our approach, responsibilities, training, supplier requirements, reporting channels, and the consequences of violations.
